I’ve run into a ref pretty hard before completely on accident, but I’m also in a recreational (read: beer) league and the expectation of us staying on our skates in a straight line is pretty low to begin with.

I have the 60" M series and it’s awesome. Local dimming is great, picture is great. Well worth the money.

How long have you had yours? I bought two Neatos and loved them until they died just after the one year warranty ran out.

Get it. I bought one right before Christmas for $900 and I’m not even mad I missed this price drop.

I had an SX-4 first gen, AWD, 5 speed when they came out here and I LOVED IT. I have an Equator now (yeah, I know, basically a Nissan), but I’m nostalgic for that badge.

This is excellent.

So, what you’re saying is that Lexus got the placement of eyes on cars correct? (unlike those Pixar Cars you so despise)

The Jobsian Apple comparison is spot on. Elon takes a lot of inspiration from him and how he’s able to both wrangle a market and get the most out of his people for a great product. Time (and not a whole lot of it) will tell what the real deal with the Bolt is, but so far it looks like GM is ahead of Tesla to release a

True. I bet the $30k number Tesla has been throwing around is after incentives as well.

Hey now, I’m not an early adopter by any means. Interestingly enough, a comparison of cars to video games isn’t as apples and oranges as it used to be since car companies are becoming very much more like tech companies. Is this as slick as what Tesla will come up with for the Model 3? Almost certainly not (that

I can get into this. A mass market all electric that doesn’t look horrible and gets good range.

Except that the “electrified Aveo” actually exists as a drivable car. A 200 mile electric for $30k currently exists under the Tesla badge as a promise. No doubt, the model 3 will be a fine car but you can get this one much sooner.

I’d accidentally clear out my calculator screen, forcing me to start all over with a long calculation...and then mashing the other buttons in frustration. Do you have any idea how much time it takes to put the parentheses in all the right places?!?!

C-C-C-C-C-C-C-COMBOBREAKER!!!

Neutral: sounds a lot like what Android has been doing for years with their Nexus line of phones. Google has proven time and again that they kinda suck at hardware so it makes sense for more experienced producers to just build to their specs while they focus on software. With how good Ford’s cars and trucks have

Now playing

“Just because I don’t know what it is doesn’t mean I’m lying.”

“you don’t drive title you drive car”

I used to live a stone’s throw from their Sturgeon Bay shipyard. Seeing these things built and launched really is something else.

Plus the “I’m a 30 year old living with my parents (one of my current neighbors)” stigma of both the Z car and the Genesis are things I really don’t want to deal with.

My wife and I (mostly I) did something stupid on our last trip to Colorado and upgraded our rental to a V-6 Camaro Convertible, a 2013, IIRC. Took it from Denver to Golden, Keystone, A-Basin, through RMNP, through Estes Park and back and that thing was a BLAST to drive. Sporty enough to be fun, smart enough to keep me
