Stellantis: Figured it out! We underpriced it and our upscale buyers don’t like cheap stuff. Raise prices!

Spouse is Canadian so we probably get a *slight* edge at the border  ;-)

Editors:  This writer needs to go.   Attempts at ‘Edgy’ are just sad.

From what I’ve read, the reason SpaceX and until recently Tesla have been reasonable successful is they have entire teams who’s entire job is just managing Musk. Game planning every decision present so he picks the correct option instead of his ego running in zigzag circles on ketamine.

Stuck on a train track comes to mind. What with EVs being known to literally LOCK PEOPLE IN ;-)

Counter Counter point.   If it’s on a vehicle I *purchased* I damned well expect to utilize the full usage of such things.   Utter BS that you don’t get the full power available...because of a subscription.   Or heated seats or steering wheels etc.   If the hardware is there, we should be able to use it regardless of

I can’t wait for the lawsuit when someone dies because the car didn’t utilize the full power available. Logical extension is ‘extreme braking’ option but the lack of horsepower in ‘basic’ mode could prevent you from getting out of the way of something etc.

I’m curious how much heat the skin of a car contributes to the interior. Vs the IR radiation hitting the inside and being trapped.

I always thought those were more for UV/high energy radiation?

But those black interiors, we’re keeping those!

PA’s legendary highway OnStamps  I mean Ramps.    These 4 yard long things are one of the few decent reasons why EVs need 4 bazillion HP.

All Hail His (boiling hot) Noodly Appendage

There is an optional step to invert the plane...which may have already happened if you are running the ‘oh shit’ checklist

this. another fun fact, putting in a 25kw or larger battery in your home tends to require also adding a sprinkler system (codes are ignorant to batt chemistry and risks at this point).

Loved some ijdit who suggested that to make cargo shipping green we should just put SMR nukes on them  lulz

No, it’s expensive and costs a fair bit, that’s why they haven’t built them.

Again, if it’s so involved to build just the EV bits. Why the f are they *also* re-engineering literally everything else at the same time?

Car makers aren’t making cars to sell. They’re making Sci-Fi they want to make.

I’ve heard both sides, they do and that they don’t. How would one determine this?
