Converse, officer is doing illegal things with his personal cam turned off, the COPS can view the livestream and intervene to save ppl.

The question is why wouldn’t they have gotten it certified at *full* power knowing they were planning on this stupid subscription ‘boost’?

Tokamak is fusion nuclear (like the sun)...and that would be a good step. My understanding it has far far far less waste issues.

Yeah, I’m from Rochester, NY and the years I lived in Charleston I experienced winter conditions I’d never seen.

thx, I suspected as much but hope recharges eternally! haha

I can guarantee you the panels don’t cost $10K. The entire car is < $25K.

Midwest/east coast quakes are felt a long long long way away.  Unlike the rubble of CA faults that absorbs over distance, the nice solid plates we have ring like a bell.

We had a shot at safe, reliable thorium nuclear but it didn’t make things that go boom so it was shelved; yes we do only have ourselves to blame.

We had a pale yellow impala and a two tone blue caprice classic wagon.

the doors aren’t gonna really be a factor in the charging. Doubtful the a full door even produces 5% of the total solar charge.

Wonder if replacing them with a modern battery would fix those issues?

It’s literally free energy...on a car that costs thousands LESS than most other options.   So maybe 100 miles a week.   Compared to gas that’s a bargain.

Solar panels are just another issue. Even mild fender benders can total cars now...the cost and *liability* of re-certifying the safety systems/sensors gets expensive fast.

Black color will do wonders.   A dark interior would also help increase the thermal store to melt the exterior

The south has signs “Bridge freezes before road...hell freezes before bridge”

You’re complaining about being given free energy?

800 miles? rent a car and let them eat the depreciation.

You know what will have far far far more battery storage than the grid? the EVs themselves.

Unions exist for one reason, owner/mgmt treatment of workers.

Have a friend who bought an absolute run down 60 yr old house in the inner DC burbs. Let the fire dept destroy it for a tax break and then put up a modular home.
