Any new nukes won’t be online for at least a decade. Better to focus on renewable/batteries. Molten salt reactors might be a decent area to invest in, but new ‘old’ fission nukes aren’t a solution in the timeframe we need them.

Unless a massive 6-7 billion human die off is acceptable...technology is the only way out of this.

the 1LT model is looking at $45K price. Not exactly discounted much at all.

accidentally hitting the gas in 180hp vs 600hp has minor differences of effect.  Emergency maneuvers etc are affected by that much power.  Sure stability control can handle some of it but it’s just. not. needed.

I think it would be an interesting comparison to see. Lots of vehicles driving up mountains at sometimes terrible mileage speeds vs same vehicles driving many days at very efficient speeds (for ICEs) vs lots of motorcycles, helicopters, etc.
