EV’s are going to make it even longer. Less important stuff to break and the important stuff they do have is plug n play replaceable (almost).

Up front ask for separate checks.

‘contingency plans’ reminds of The Who story

When a guy who was a *heavy* drug user and has OD’d significantly in the past, says he’s at the limit...you know what that ‘limit’ entails. If you don’t immediately give him support and space, sorry you’re part of the blame territory.

Lots of really high pressure jobs are like that.

It’s a Boeing so that’s fair, but doesn’t Airbus software tend to default to not letting the pilots do something stupid...even if stupid fast dive would be the correct course of action for a given scenario.

Potentially taking a bullet is literally part of the job description.

reminds me of an old Steven Wright bit:

that sorta proves his point though, 15x more battery fires per 100,000 vehicles.

I wonder if we’ll see range caveat’s in ads. Like 400hp @ 5300 rpm etc.

Tesla is already at about 50% of production with LFP batteries which don’t have thermal runaway issues.

AF 447 was because of piTot tubes not piLot error.
