Agreed. I like the idea of starting with neutral maps and then adjusting for realities.

Fair points that should make them more responsive. It seems like we aren’t seeing that play out though.
What would you say is the difference between choosing a different restaurant....and reconfiguring your entire production network to use a different web services provider?
1st gear: Long term, new car prices simply can’t continue to rise at historical rates. $30K for a new relatively basic car is ridiculous, let alone the $70K trucks. And that’s before the EV price bump. Middle/rural America just isn’t going to sustain those increases.
Oligarchies tend to not really care. The cost of switching your services from them is so high and there are so few other choices that they know the pain tolerance of their customers is high
Another important factor....if you have push start button feature, your keys may be in your purse way down in the footwell and unreachable.
Really wish they’d provided more info on side laminated window strategies. Mentioned it, but mostly seems like you’re basically screwed if you need a fast exit.
Sadly that’s true for the vast majority if not *all* the Senators and a good number in the House.
Yeah my point is if he helps the Dem’s do the big things in BBB, the potential upside for Dem’s is more Dem Senators...which isn’t an upside for Manchin.
To be fair, if the Dems were to enact lots of things truly beneficial to lots of Americans, they’d end up with more than 50 Senators...making Manchin completely irrelevant again.
Don’t multiple packets come in faster than the ping times?
Agreed. Though realistically we don’t even have the main tools yet. Mechanized CO2 removal is the only viable solution for any sort of meaningful mitigation.
We’re well beyond being able to be ‘comfy’ or even ‘moderately uncomfortable’ but there are orders of magnitude worse we can still mitigate if we try. Manchin has now made it significantly worse as well.
Ah ok, I thought you were saying it permanently lost the capacity. resetting it once in a while with a 100% charge is more reasonable
but in general you never charge to 100% and after awhile your battery starts not recognizing that additional capacity
It’s not really a new concept.
The caveat with small savings over time is directly inverse of the complexity. Truck side skirts work well because they are just fixed in place and have no moving parts. Tails as well but do have some impact on loading/unloading
no, it’s either an outright dismissal or a mistrial, but only if discovered/proven.
I’m still amazed the whole ‘parallel construction’ thing just sorta got memoryholed.
