Your link is a Nuclear Industry Advocacy group.

You initially claimed that electric was cheaper than gas. Back that statement up.

You need a citation that the Costs of A are less than the Costs of A plus B?

It depends on many factors. But yes, a fully electric grid is cheaper to run and operate than it is to operate all that and *also* run and operate an entirely separate gas network.

CA already requires all new construction to have PV panels

Which is cheaper to build and maintain? An state wide electrical system or a state wide electrical system and a state wide gas network?

My childhood home was all-electric when my parents bought it in the 80s

He’s just trolling. Or farming bitcoin. Or growing weed.

And yet, there is a ‘one size fits all’ problem here. Massive spread of a contagious virus. The Texan and America “Me first because I’m special” attitude needs to get bent.   These people are a clear and present danger to modern society.

When you’re paying 5x per mile driven in fuel costs, the ICE *should* do more than it does frankly.

I liked the attempts at gamification. The boost spots you had to hit to get the boost. Added more nuance to the driving.

It won’t. In the best case scenario (of our terrible scenarios), the nuclear we have is enough to bridge our base load needs until full renewable plus storage is viable. Nuclear waste is simply a bad bad trade off for continued at scale use. Continued CO2 release is far worse...and simply turning things off 40% isn’t

and screwing with people when you start the car and they have no idea where the ignition is!

It wasn’t a problem b/c people sent their troublesome kids to institutions upstate.

Complete towing luddite question. Could you design a 3 wheeled trailer so there basically isn’t any tongue weight?

wasn’t there just a story saying EV’s hadn’t seen nearly as much of the used car price bump in the current market as ICEs?

The odds of a significant financial judgement against the airline are....somewhat higher than zero

All except being massively flammable.  Not a good thing to add to the environment at 30k

Assuming you need to cuff each arm, each leg and the torso.  tape seems the quickest thing to release them from.  Few slices with something as dull as a plastic knife seems faster than 5 separate mechanisms.
