It depends on many factors. But yes, a fully electric grid is cheaper to run and operate than it is to operate all that and *also* run and operate an entirely separate gas network.

It won’t. In the best case scenario (of our terrible scenarios), the nuclear we have is enough to bridge our base load needs until full renewable plus storage is viable.
