The music player part doesn't kill my iphone battery at all. After all, the screen's mostly off - it's ONLY playing the music unless I want to skip a track but my earphone's on-cord controls let me do that also without turning the screen on. It's games that kill my battery...and anything else (Facebooking, twitter,…

I was going to say this, too. But then you need to open the Timer app, as well, if you want to track how much time is left on your parking meter.
