May I just say in reference to the three examples above....yummmm.

Oh, NEW shoes. That'll cost extra.

It's a reasonably standard and very identifiable convention. I don't pretend to know very much about the history of plane design much less what's current but the icon works for me!

Oh, for f—ksake. I keep going 'round in circles and NEVER see the actual list of this week's apps...either in the sidebar (something which shouldn't be done, anyway, as it breaks commonsense rules of UI design) or in the article directly (where they should be).

Grudging respect here. Cable installer, after all - he probably took an impressively long time to come.

CotD? Could be!

*tentatively raises hand*

Erection joke was dead on arrival :)

Well, I appreciated the joke ?:^ )

This. I have my phone in a Belkin armband and a pair of Logitech earbuds with volume/track/call controls. I run the cable inside my shirt and down through the sleeve. Nothing gets caught on anything. I exercise worry-free!

And if not, you'll only be IN-famous.

Bingo! (just make sure you've turned off the wifi on your phone first...)

Hey, these are people who SOUGHT OUT celebrity and notoriety. Now they're going to complain about the stuff that goes with that? Pht. Pussies.

More to the point, will they remain standing when they get wet or the breeze blows?

Oopsie. What's a few decimal places amongst friends? :)

Worded a bit more strongly than I would've gone, but I'm with you. There were some incredible proposals made...MANY of which would have done much greater justice to the site, to the nation and to the memory of those who died. Having said that, though, I still like the one they're building much more than the boring,

Oh. Right. I keep forgetting that patriotism is, by definition, a monopoly of the neocons. You know, it's one thing to disagree with policy but it's crassly ignorant and arrogant, to boot, to presume just because someone disagrees with you that they are "driving this country into the ground." It's that mindset that's

That brand of demagogic, democracy-is-ok-so-long-as-MY-position-wins-the-day patriotism we don't need.

Lovely. A real patriot, you are.

The message is completely valid. The part about the Christian sect really isn't in the same way. That's all.
