I'll say again: the Supreme Court Justices experts in matters of legal precedent and process...but they are not scientists. Evaluation of the scientific data is best left to scientific experts...and there most certainly is consensus within the scientific community that second hand smoke is harmful, increasing risks

Good point...though it depends on which particular details you happen to be paying attention to at any given moment.

That's clever as hell.

When were the studies of second-hand smoke "proven" false? And oh, by the way, the Supreme Court Justices aren't scientists - they make legal rulings rather than scientific ones.

And that, my friends, is a wonderful example of how enriching it can be to pay attention to the day-to-day details that most people simply won't notice.

Not usually, actually. Unless there are pets being transported in the cargo compartment and the airline's properly noted that fact and the captain/crew have actually processed it. Every now and again you hear about pets dying in unpressurized cargo compartments.

Quality > Quantity. I'd take her. So to speak.

I'm hearting you because the depth of your knowledge and intellectual reasoning is a huge turn on. (Not to worry, though - I'm married).

I routinely avoid anything even remotely connected with Mr. Ferrell...except Stranger Than Fiction. His performance could've been a lot better but, all in all, I just really liked that movie.

Forget it. He's rolling.

What did I miss? Did motion sims go away?

Judging by the distinct lack of crowds, I'm guessing the former. But, yes - that was one of the first things that sprang into my mind, too...right after "HOLY CRAAAAAAAAP!!"

I hearted you a long time ago. This comment just makes me love you even more.

What're they good for? Absolutely nothin'. Huh!

"Your heroic, saying what everyone wants to hear..."

Well, I grew up in a town of 7,000 but we made at least 2 trips a year to NYC to visit relatives and for the past 21 years or so I've lived in the Chicago area. So I think I have a pretty decent handle on both of the extremes. The fact that you can say you've NEVER started up a conversation with someone you've been in

If you read that as "heroism" then you clearly missed the point entirely. And you've doubled down by unreasonably expanding the canvas to include everyone everywhere - we're only talking about the people we come into contact with on a daily basis. Yes, of course - I'd be completely paralyzed if I spent all of my time

Wow, I can feel the humanity flowing from you! "If that person was to drop dead tonight, I would know no difference, and have no feeling for that person." If you would honestly feel nothing at all, I weep for you and those who surround you. No one's suggesting you have to become best buds with the folks who work in

Probably means it's still just a concept rendering.

@Zinger314: Looks like there's enough room that I could squeeze in there with her. I do love me some marshmallows.
