Just an FYI, the guide Thorin linked in this article is no longer working. the setup of the drive and auto mounting via fstab is fine, but the netatalk portion is no longer applicable. I used the following guide and had it up and running within minutes (though like I said I already had the drive formatted and mounted.)

Oh man I remember back when Locks actually had incredibly useful party abilities. Soulstone used to be a godsend, summoning got things moving much faster, and their fear was an alright substitute to a polymorph or sap. Nowadays mostly anyone can heal, tank, or dps. There’s literally no CC. Ever.

There was another to learn dual wield, I think poisons required a quest to obtain as well. Not to mention all the brewing and lockpicking you had to do to make it worthwhile. They took out reagents and skill levels for class abilities. Personally I miss them.

Yeah... I’ve been playing MOBAs since AoS, and vastly prefer HotS to any of the other contenders right now. Less for the gameplay mechanics and more for the community. The MOBA community started going downhill in the late WC3 days. Once LoL came out the game was more annoying than anything.

Welcome to the free market! This happens way more than you think. I worked at a company that bid on writing software for a state contract once. They found some open source software that did about 90% of what the state needed, programmed the remaining 10%, and cashed in for a few million.

You have the lip balm linked twice. Once in Kinja Co-Op and again in Kinja-Gear.

If you watch the video you'll see they claim to have a majority of the work done already. The alpha testing is set to open at the end of summer so it's sort of implied that they have either run low on funds or just want to make a cash crab before the game begins the QA cycle.

Sorry for the multiple posts... I rewrote the initial comment and it wouldn't let me publish the changes or delete the first comment. Hooray for Kinja!

Apps, short for applications, actually have a clearly defined meaning that differs from programs.

Would there be any benefit to gain if instead of building one, small dedicated box for a specific task you just built a larger box and used the Hyper-V built into 8.1 to run multiple servers off of it?

I wouldn't say TPD "outed the reported" as all their emails are public record. I also don't really see the problem with the way TPD. Sure, I'm willing to bet ESPN is upset that they won't be able to exclusively break the story, but the documents have been provided. Personally I'd rather have the opportunity to read

Here's hoping they optimize the power usage a bit. I mean sure, I never expect it to reach the level of Safari, but chrome absolutely destroys my macbook's battery.

Your advice on skimping early in the day to save calories for caloric dense dinners makes sense, but what if you are also tracking macros? I find it hard enough keeping my fat intake low. Whenever I think of holiday food I think of carb and fat heavy meals, and simply eating less won't help the overall percentages.

Sure, it just takes a bit of work in terminal and is detailed here. Make sure you reboot once you've followed the instructions.

I'd be interested to see a side by side comparison between this and CreditKharma once mint has some time to work things out.

Does it really though? I've never been asked during the hiring process how much I'm currently being paid. I had one or two hint at it during the interview process, but I deflected it back at them. Personally I don't really think it's any company's business how much another is paying you. Have them pay you by what

I remember playing this game and seeing the intro. At the time the graphics of the movie blew my little kid mind.

Not every program is worthless. I use Airmail and love it. Though, I'm assuming Linus would die inside if he used anything other than Linux so I doubt he has many options. Personally, I never found any mail client of worth in Linux.
