We don’t tip hugely in the UK because we pay waitstaff a(n almost) live-able wage, but it’s customary to tip 10% if they don’t do anything terrible and more if it’s above and beyond the usual.

I came to the same conclusion recently though and it is in part due to me having more and more disposable income - always tip

Debate would suggest that both sides have a sound hypothesis and basis for their argument.

But she isn’t the only woman in the room, in the photo?

:( I posted in the wrong thread :(

This was highlighted when they had the body double do a slam-dunk wearing a TERRIBLE wig, then it cut back to her and you think, 'yes still terrible hair'…

Two viable beings? Correct me if I’m wrong but you need at least TWO people for conception to happen. Why is the third viable being given a free pass?

Generally about the situation, not just this article or site, it’s just something I have observed and find incredibly interesting.

Excellent Freudian typo.

It’s amazing the number of men who are adamant they wouldn’t feel assaulted if Marlon Brando rubbed butter on their anus without their consent.

Umm I think that was Christopher Walken actually.

Exactly! How would you even keep track of it!

It doesn’t mean you’re an evil person if you behave selfishly when your child is sick. It does mean you’re a selfish person and I’ve seen this in my own family.

The mother does not have any of my sympathy here. Grief doesn’t give you a free pass in my book, especially when you’re shitting on all the other grieving

He isn’t really fighting. He’s just repeated the words from the Will and he is legally and morally obligated to do so. He’s not pursuing her in any other way apart from making a public statement of fact.

I was just going to say this exact thing as I right now made this connection.

I’ve been having back/shoulder/nerve issues this year so tried to sleep on my side/back rather than front. Sleeping on my front has sort of weirdly twisted my spine. And NOW I realise my sleep paralysis happens on my side the most, and then I

Librarians value information and knowledge above all else. These people don’t.

My dad kisses EVERYONE and a few weeks ago some bloke in a tea room gave him a ribbing for kissing my boyfriend.

Which is so sad when you think about men’s increased incidence of suicide, isolation, loneliness...

So weirdly this made me sympathise with Trump. Kill me.

I kind of wish people would stop idolising this - the reason these moves are banned is simply because of how damaging they were. You don’t think that’s going to fuck up someone’s pelvis and internal organs?

With me it mostly stays up there, unless I start violently swishing about or am in there for over an hour. And even if it is a bit bloody it’s still worth the relief. Shower after. Mind your white bathmat.

TBH as a radical librarian I’m not sure, because if we can’t use or interact with the object as it was intended what is it’s purpose? Preserving it as an untouchable artefact renders it useless, meaningless. It’s a paradox. And an expensive one at that.
