But why have the badge in the first place? Why have "CL55" or "Biarritz" or "Paseo" back there at all? Does anybody really need to know that you're driving an Optima and not a Forte? Perhaps it's just to show off to the neighbors— but if that's the case, why does the Chevy Spark come with a badge? To rub it in someone…

It looks way better debadged IMO that's why I debadge all my cars I even had a Challenger SRT8 and took everything off. If you can't tell the difference that's your problem.

Don't get me wrong. Its a good post, fun, click-attracting material. But why is at Jalopnik?

Hobby RC aircraft have been around for decades, but now that everything that doesn't have a pilot is a "drone" people suddenly start paying attention to them.

My god those orange wheels on that BRZ are hideous.

Tigger? Was that a typo? We always said tiger.

Lane splitting is actually pretty safe and is a good way for motorcyclists to travel...it should be done in a safe and prudent manner when legal to do so....not like this.

Lane splitting at a traffic light or heavy slow traffic is great for me, the four wheeled aficionado who doesn't ride the two wheeled conveyances.

I got this one.

We spared no expense.

"Many Americans have friends and family scattered all over the country, which makes it harder to tie the knot on the cheap."

Um, I think the real problem is:

"old, first-gen Chevy Malibu circling the block"

Fifth? I have 3 cars. Well one is my wifes, but I make the payments, and one wont start. But you are telling me that I am only one car away from being someone who would then buy an Aventador? Sweet.

" Maybe they forgot that the MK4 Golf it was based on was a bad car to begin with."

As a slope, and an American, i am not offended by the initial joke nor the apology. People need to get over themselves.

This is what happens when you let a car guy design a bike. They always do a cruiser, and it ends in tears.
