I am going to add to the chorus of folks who work in the engineering field in and with automotive companies (suppliers, oems, etc) and say that a working female engineer isn't just the minority, they are almost extinct. Plenty of women get engineering degrees, and many of them work in engineering for a few years, but…

erm, there are really no women engineers period. My alma mater is 50/50 men to women and 85% of the college of engineering is men, a large number of the women in the "real" engineering majors were foreign students from asia, and most of the American women landed in Industrial.

The RX8 has a Wankel rotary engine. The term rotary engine is also often used to refer to radial plane engines as well. Both uses are correct. It would be pretty bad if Mazda used the wrong term for its rotary engines for 40+ years.
