I think I enjoy that too, but from a budget perspective. I have a lot of "crap" games. Games that are bad, and I know they are bad, but I get them (always on the cheap...really cheap) just to see what they are like. The feeling of a new game ("new game smell" ?) just to see what it is like. Oh yeah, it sucks just like

hahaha oh man that is good. I posted then went away so never saw the post that went above mine. I actually reloaded the comments and scrolled through to find what you were talking about. Too funny.

Yes, that's a good rule of thumb. However I know a handful of people who have their name which was probably taken, then they have their jersey number or something like that after it. While not ideal in my mind, I would not condemn it.

I posted this a few days ago and nobody commented or took note.

Rules for picking a name:

Ok so a totally weird thing. I went on Raptr (which I never do) to get the free Ghost Recon beta code (given away in my other post below) and I happened to look at my game rankings.

X360 Ghost Recon Future Soldier Beta Code for FREE!

So what ever happened to spin off variants in IP?

I could probably come up with a slew of games dating back to 1985 that I regret purchasing. The one that comes to mind recently is Uncharted 3. Not that it was the worst game in the world, and I sincerely enjoyed it a bunch, but it was the biggest disappointment.

Yes, it very well could. But also since it was narrated and they were showcasing the character and how he is different than every other character, has a focus on melee attacks and only transforms when the meter goes up, one would think that they would show more if there was more.

Black Warfare... 1965

It's cool, it's fun, but if it doesn't have a good ground someplace expect it to get fried.

Yeah, that sounds about right. I frequently get (for all my classes, not just Recon) anywhere from 75% - 125% of the kill I don't get. Many times I have seen myself get a large point value based on the plethora of stuff going on. It almost makes sense to not get the kill at all so you can get more points. lol But I

I totally concur with the power of the sniper rifles. I could put a bolt action rifle to a guy and have him not go down. All he has to do is go prone and wait to heal. The power of the gun and the lack of my skill just don't work well together.

Well lets see, of my wife's guy friends they all seem to feel they "taught" her how to play Black Ops. For strangers she meets they seem to feel she doesn't know how to use her guns. To be honest, she is pretty good, but her lacking quality isn't skill, it is the focus of the game. She likes to talk a lot during the

Thanks for the input. I pretty much agree with you on you points, but would order my best to worst as:

I am currently working on my Recon kit for BF3. I have gone service star multiple times on Engineer and Assault, and once on Support, but I totally suck and sniping. While I enjoy the concept and exactly what you are describing, I am just not very good at it.

Yeah, this is my hope for this series and for FPS in general. Seriously, since I only recently played the 2010 reboot it is fairly fresh to me, but the game itself was done really well. It wasn't perfect, but it gave you more of a "real" feeling to the characters and the mission. Like this was really a bunch of

I modded my launch PS3 with a potentiometer for fan control and a temp display. It's pretty sweet. I ran the potentiometer through the card slot in front (removed the card reader to make room since I never use it anyway) so I just flip up the hatch and turn the dial. The display glows blue through the case just behind

Okay, I like it. I loved WFC so am excited and definitely getting this game regardless.
