Yes, and people always claim that Nintendo was founded in 1889. Which it was, but not the Nintendo we know and think of. So what? I mean, yeah it bugs me about the Atari name too, but if I were going to complain about it, I would also add in that they have not produced anything of value in decades. What they are known

I see your point, and agree, but the focus in my comment is more that publishers/developers have gotten comfortable in their current situation. They know the consoles inside and out, know their engines inside and out, and know the typical games that sell. They are just floating through it.

I don't want the next gen because I don't want to buy a new console.

Ok, so I decided to chime in on the commenting thing.

Laser on the moon?

Holy crap, you just posted SOAD. You are my senior and you just made me feel old.

Yeah, I really don't want a rail shooter game, but if I were to have one (and I already have Time Crisis) having Resident Evil is the way to go right? But man I just don't want to spend money on that sort of thing.

Oh don't tell me that. Well, I am doing this play through to get the perfect crime trophy, and from there should be able to "adjust" some end chapters to get them all. I already have 3 or 4 of the variations, and if I can't get it from there then forget it!

Thanks. Yeah that is what I looked at to realize I need to go back and let the shop guy die and also get arrested twice for the perfect crime ending.

My buddy bought Heavy Rain and started playing it, so I pulled it out of the library and am having another go at it. I figure I will do everything and platinum the stupid thing.

I think we already have seen this crash, just don't know it is a crash yet (or won't admit it). Look around, the console generation has lasted longer than any other but that extended time has brought with it stale and regurgitated games, and there is very little excitement in what is brewing for the future. Wii

Yeah, I guess that was my question. Low amount produced but easy to obtain. Just seems a bit odd to call it rare when you can get it at any time. Pretty much any of the small publisher games can be put into that category.

Wow, concise review. I love it. Thanks for the tip.

That was probably my favorite part of the game. Favorite boss at least.

That game is rare? Maybe not common in most game libraries true, but rare as in hard to get?

I think it looks good. Honestly looks how I imagine it should. Basically grabbing all the concepts that work and people like and trying to use those and do their own thing. Why reinvent the wheel?

I've never played Journey but that being at the top of your list is a good thing.

I actually get the Brown Recluse (albeit not heavily) where I live as well as major infestations of Black Widows.

Same reason for me, but different story. I had been away from games during that time (the only time in my life since 1980) and was just loving life without games. I left them in 91 or so because, well, I grew out of those childish things (mild sarcasm intended). But really, games just didn't meet my needs anymore.

haha yeah I noticed you goof off when you are talking, that's one of the reasons I enjoyed it so much silly!
