Thanks. I appreciate the kind words.

Ok, I am a huge Uncharted fan and will give you my feelings. I will not talk about MP at all, as the sample games mentioned are not MP. If we want to talk about that, well that's another posting all together.

haha yeah, I don't do note taking. I just turn on my web cam so others can do it while I play. They can deal with the underwear only if they want their data.

I have Katamari Forever. It's okay. I get bored of it. I still don't get it myself. I played it as a Japanese demo first, and could not read anything, and would get bombed by the prince at the end. I totally didn't know what was going on. But I thought it was quirky and fun so got it when it came State side and now

I basically agree with you, but your definitions seem lacking still (which is really the problem when the industry starts using buzz words like these).

"But, overall it's good just because EVERYONE is playing it, so you've always got someone to play with."

Be on time. If you are calling them, call promptly. If you are receiving the call, be ready. You shouldn't have to get to a "quiet spot" or dig out your notepad or anything like that. You should already be ready.

Valve Hardware - Not a console!

I was totally going to post this too.

That's actually why I liked MOH. It was based on real ops in Afghanistan. Sure, it was embellished and made into an "epic story" but it was still real feeling. It wasn't Russia, and the story was a mission that had impact, but you cared about the people as much as the mission. Don't leave them out there, go rescue

Yeah I hear you on all of that. Some of the stuff seems like straight rip off. Some of it is just cliche, and some of it is just coincidentally the same based on the lack of originality of the entire genre (like the story being told through flashbacks like Blops. really, it was only a year apart, I doubt they ripped

That's an interesting perspective, and I don't necessarily disagree with it but I think it lacks to compensate for the difference between game and film. Film has come a long way with various technologies, but essentially the interaction with the medium is identical to the original concept. Sure, sound, color, and 3D

I enjoyed it a lot. Don't get me wrong, I totally understand why people ripped it and said it was dumb. But the flip side is, what were they expecting? Not that the fact that most FPS games have crap campaigns is an excuse for another one, but did people really expect the world to be revolutionized by the campaign or

The problem is, there is no benefit to the "buyer" to go through you. So basically you have to have a system where you get your points and then they eventually get theirs. That tends to get set up a pyramid scheme type of thing which will eventually topple.

Yeah, I was never a big SOCOM fan because I got a PS2 late in the game. But I figure I would have been. I had high hopes for SOCOM 4 but when I played the demo they released I was not impressed at all. It showed potential, but just did not play well.

I sort of agree. However the reality is that they do make products that don't do well. It is just that when they have success it is wide success and highly innovative and profitable. They are marketing geniuses, they sell things really well and make you want them. When they have a product that isn't so hot (say, apple

I remember trying MW2 that way. It was more difficult. But I am more comfortable with 3rd person games so would like that option too. BF3 lets you do that when you are in a vehicle at least. That really helps depending on the situation.

My two cents are this, if you want a FPS (especially a military one) get BF3. Period.

yeah, and my 5 year old was crying by the time she was on FFVII and I told her GTA was next.

I second this comment!
