I’m feeling you and hoping that the tide turns. Kamala Harris just got the VP nod which is a mixed bag. She doesn’t represent my progressive values but then again ANYTHING is an improvement over where we are now.

I taught English in Japan for the requisite year after college. Best year of my life, not counting the years spent with my lovely wife. Living in a place where people behave as part of a community and don’t litter or behave selfishly is pretty darn magical.

There’s an insidious subtext to your reply that drains it of sincerity, made overt with the bit about suggesting I disagree with the Bill of Rights and Constitution. What I disagree with is the shambolic mess of contradictions that my country has become, all the rest is bad assumptions on your part.

I do agree however

I’ve worked hard my whole life as a progressive American to make my homeland a better place. In that time I’ve watched it slide into irrelevance and Idiocracy. I get ONE life to lead and I want it to be a happy one and if that means spending the second half of it in a rustic Bavarian village with a daily Stammtisch at

If by “us” you mean dimwits like yourself, then sure. Our retirement relocation will definitely be either German or Scandinavian unless our employer opens an annex in Düsseldorf, in which case sooner.

It’s estimated that the native American population of N America was upwards of 20 million before our ancestors killed the vast majority.

God what I wouldn’t give to have a residence and live in Düsseldorf as of late. It’s embarrassing recently to be American and our friends in that fantastic city are all so supportive of their progressive counterparts living in the land of the ever present dumpster fire.

As a perennial hoaxer myself (Google “Florida Man Changes Name To Kraftwerk) I must tip my hat in respeck over the Russian arcade game. You jumped 12.3 pts in my esteem right into Mensch realm.

I was going to post my suggestion of a Pao - if it’s good enough for Jason Torchinsky and his bald spot then it’s good enough for Matthew.

As a fellow Pao owner who’s about to swap speedo bulbs, thx for paving the path forward. I did a similar swap on my ‘71 TR6 a few years ago, swapping all my gauges to LED blood red. Here’s the redone speedo next to the dim tach. These gauges were full of dust, grime and had formerly white housings meant to encourage

If you can sing all the words to “Somewhere In My Heart” then sure!

Beautifully hideous, you mean.
@Jason Torchinsky We went to the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show and were gobsmacked at the insanity of the Daihatsu stage show.

If only it were that easy, I would.

Damn skippy! Just installed some 80 series balloon tires on my hooptie and they’re fantastic on our mostly-potholes roads.

Bam! A punch to the face and a knee to the groin, Fieros look rad chopped:

Now playing

Don’t be a snowflake. If you can’t take the truth then don’t leave your safe space you tool.

It really is sad that the company who during the 40s had the Zero in production is reduced to what it is today. /s

It was unclear when I wrote that as to which Mitsubishi chassis underpinned the Sebring Coupe. Further digging reveals 1st gen Sebring Coupe was the Galant chassis, 2nd gen Sebring was the Eclipse 3rd gen chassis, so you get props for being right on that point.

Christalmighty I had NO idea that a Chapelle parody existed! I *hated* those ads, it’s no wonder that Mitsubishi nearly went bankrupt underwriting their own loans to that same demographic.

1st gen gave us the sublime & insanely tunable AWD turbo variants. Arguably the best generation.
