You don’t know what you are talking about.

There are a lot of reasons for the steel wishbones, and ironically some of them are safety reasons.

I posted more info above if you want to take a look. Basically, the tub didn’t do anything wrong.

Carbon fiber is inherently weak to penetration impacts. To counteract that, they put aluminum honeycomb, as well as layers of Zylon, a material that is stronger than the Kevlar they use in bulletproof vests. Over the years, the tub has gotten more and more Zylon and its often said to be the safest (and most overbuilt)

Speeds are broadly the same as last year, so the aerokits speed is not the problem.

By total number, its pretty much on par with normal. But the wrecks seem to be especially violent this year.

It was the right call. Slower speeds are better than sending a car through the fence. They had to do something, and slowing the cars down and having them run the equipment they are going to run in the race (you know, like nearly every other racecar series on earth) is fine. It’s QUALIFYING, not the race. 230mph+ is

Good irony post, thats just as comically shitty as a post from the idiots in question.

And I thought the military were heroes?!

But my cousin’s roommate drives a truck and he saw a load he delivered contained body bags, UN berets, and posters saying Hail Hillary what else could this exercise be

The most insane part of these “takeover conspiracies” is that these people believe they, armed with hunting rifles, small assault weapons (maybe), and Vietnam-era souvenir artillery, would fend off the full might of the American military. THINK ABOUT HOW CRAZY THIS SOUNDS.

So does the book of warning labels.

Damn! Those guys are huge as FUCK!!!

Just for size reference. Most people think its about the size of the space shuttle since it looks alot like it.

The Xenon thrusters will also tend to blind oncoming satellites, prompting them to flash their own thrusters in retaliation, which could potentially set off a “Space Rage” War.

Except nobody will buy it, which is why it’s not available.

Why not?
It is already the stupidest idea in racing, why not allow it to go on the whole race.

Thank you for the same boring, out of touch copy/paste response from 10 years ago about IndyCar.

Bourdais is known for being incredibly smooth with his technique. It should also be noted that these cars don't have power steering, so rapid steering wheel motions mean fighting the grip in the front tires (including downforce if at speed).
