Then don’t go to the races. Or a sporting event or any kind. Really, don’t go outside ever again cause things happen out there! And certainly, CERTAINLY, don’t ever get in a fuckin’ street car. You are way more likely to die on the way to those events than at them.

This story is a good example of some of the misconceptions a lot of Americans have about Straya, where they think it’s a continent-sized Florida with a constitution that comprises of the words “hold my beer” and “V8 ute.” Reality is it’s a nation with British levels of nanny government and 1950s deep South levels of en

Completely agree. Currently the most powerful gaming GPU is the 1080 ti with around 11 Tlops and costing $700+. That car comfortably runs at or slightly below 4k 60fps on highest settings. That is what would take to run 4k 60fps at high graphics quality.

I agree, largely, with these points.

Sure, but sharing memory bandwidth between GPU and CPU is not exactly a good thing (for comparison, the GTX 1080 has the same memory bandwidth as the entire Scorpio just for itself!), and the CPU that is helping out is broadly the same as CPUs that help out in the same DX12 games played on PC. In fact, the PC CPUs are

And tech demos on development hardware in controlled environments are not exactly what I would rely on either. Comparison to PC hardware isn’t 1 to 1, obviously, but its pretty damn close for Scorpio. Not only is it made up of PC hardware in only a slightly abnormal configuration, but it is also running the exact same

As the owner of a PS4 Pro, I can agree with this. I have ROTR which has a 4k mode now, and sure it looks pretty as hell, but it also barely hits 30fps, to the point it makes me nauseous. I changed the mode to “High framerate” which is a PS4 Pro enhanced mode as well and the game runs at 1080p 60fps and no more

The biggest problem is that it will not be sufficiently powerful to run true 4K games at 60fps. The listed GPU specs are slightly higher than the RX 480 launched a year ago (2304 shaders vs 2560 in the Scorpio, roughly the same frequency), and although they are likely newer Vega based shaders in the Scorpio, the RX480

ROFLMFAO

The tub is full of tunas, as they are a natural mercury filter.

I genuinely do not understand how anyone like the sound of diesel. They sound like somebody tossed a few rocks in the engine and then hung forks and spoons on the connecting rods of a gasoline motor.

You mean that noise that everyone hates except for the dumbasses going 60mph through the suburbs in gigantic trucks trying to feel cool?

Okay okay we get it, you don’t like Indy. I do wonder how you type so many words considering one of your hands are probably is fondling Ecclestone’s testicles. A vision NOBODY should ponder (but you, apparently).

You aren’t stating any facts whatsoever. You’re stating OPINION and presenting it as facts, which is being ignorant.

No question, F1 racing is the worst. I try hard to watch it when it’s on, but it is major nap time fuel.

You must be joking, F1 is the WORST for racing. I try to watch a race when they’re on, but damn they are terrible to watch.

We get it, you’re an F1 fanboy. But to spout ignorance all over the comment is just going to make people laugh at you. F1 may be the pinnacle of technology, but the racing is terribly boring compared to NASCAR/IndyCar.

“Indy kinda sucks for racing”

Pigot in the 20 for Ed Carpenter Racing.

Wow. Watching that video took me a few turns to realize where he was on track because he’s lower and ridiculously faster than my mental image. The outer loop in particular is just completely insane.
