Interesting how much of a cult this man has built for himself.

After retiring his Spitfire, my grandfather raced Spec RX-7 in SCCA. At its height there were like 30-something cars; they barely fit on the track. Technically enough cars to run two seperate groups, but they didn’t want to split them so they ran a giant group. And those guys were nuts; I don’t know how some of them

Congrats, you just spent $25k to have a $15k C5 corvette.

The spike in social media usage easily converts casual fans into people who actually give a shit. Before I’d maybe on occasion see the results of a race, now with more content finding its way to my eyeballs, I actually want to know when a race is, and watch it.

Are you going to buy one of the said models? Or just come comment on a car website?

I just had this discussion with my friend. We both have automotive engineering backgrounds and he’s still working in the industry. Both of us agreed that, if it were built today, the 2JZ would be a great example of bad engineering. By that I mean, as an engineer, we’re not supposed to overbuild a motor or any

This is more like finding out your new wife has $200,000 in student debt, and you’re now also culpable for it.

It’s more a case of you shouldn’t marry her until the divorce from her first husband is final.

Yeah, I’m going with the crowd and saying E39 540iT. That was available here, unlike the E34 M5T, and fits the “V8/auto” bill (unlike any M5 wagon).

I doubt that the MCL32 will be the car to rekindle his love of F1.

I hope that after experiencing this year’s cars, his love for F1 rekindles and comes back to McLaren after Alonso leaves either later this year or next.

I’m from England so I’ve been watching it since it started on the BBC. I didn’t really care for the last two series as they started spending too much money. The whole point was buy low, spend a little and improve. Sell at small, if slightly pointless profit (man hours are not calculated as a cost).

Edd can now create a fresh show based on his own vision, on any number of networks/platforms he would like. I’m excited to see what he decides to do.

Now playing

I recently discovered it and it is wonderful and a breath of fresh air from the usual car shows. Really, Mr. Torchinsky nails it. Mr China will sit down on the show and go over step by step what is needed to fix a particular piece of a car. This clip is a great example of his work: how to replace the drive motor on an

I’m going to go on record with this. I didn’t mind the ‘original’ American incarnation, once they’d gotten rid of the stupid studio segments (which are shit in the UK version too by the way) I thought it was a great way to spend an hour.

I have great news.
