@showbiz2: Just as a point of clarification, the only thing manufactured in Newton (the old Maytag plant) are the blades. In Iowa most of the hubs and towers are GE, Vestas, or Clipper. (Clipper has a plant in Iowa as well).

This is nice and everything, but I feel like it is partially wasted on Ubuntu, where apt-get makes everything quicker and easier. I just installed Fedora on a lark, and I'm currently hating on the terrifically outdated rpm/YUM system. It seriously takes forever, and if you forget to add one program to your yum install…
