@Odin: This isn't even that foreign. They have the kind of seats you are describing on some of the old trains going into Chicago from the suburbs.

@turleymuller: I see where you're going, but I don't think this is very likely. In my understanding RIM doesn't often update their OS for older phones. Google, on the other hand, has been updating Android a lot in the past year.

@philselmer: Cool. Maybe if I get an Android someday I can pick up where I left off in 7th grade...I think I got bored around 142...

While I understand the draw, I have two contributions:

@pishposh.mcgee: Might I add that almost all shrouded turbines are built to sit at ground level. This is generally the least effective height to harvest wind.

@MacAttack: Such generators do exist, but are never used for the simple fact that they are terrifically cumbersome. In fact, they are more efficient at turning wind energy into electricity, but normally cannot be built at the large (e.g. 1.5+MW) scale that current turbines are. The reason we build three-bladed

@Nikkoli: Not that they're impossible, but I don't believe any of those have been shown to be feasible. Furthermore, no new nuclear generation has been built in the U.S. since the 70's.

@Twanzio: It would probably be just as easy to get it overturned in the Supreme Court, if it really is as egregious of a privacy violation as we are being told it is...

Translation:

Not in the post, but does anyone realize that this experiment cost $2B dollars? Not Million. Billion.

@Grive: See, now I can understand that idea. I just don't believe that Wikileaks is nearly as altruistic as they claim to be. I totally agree that there should be outlets for leaking injustices when the chain of authority isn't working. However, at least in the case of the United States, I don't believe that Assange

@Grive: Maybe the more important point that Ganconer was making is that if Sweden is politically neutral, it is dangerous business for them to be protecting war criminals. That, of course, all depends on whether Assange and Co. are really war criminals, or if they are just schizophrenics or pure anarchists.

@MifuneT: Thanks, I was just wondering. Also, I am now crying inside.

@pishposh.mcgee: Also, while we're at it, could the author of the article read his own article before posting a spurious, deceptive title. Clickwhoring is my biggest complaint against this site.

@Spartanical: Fine. I'm actually in the camp that doesn't rank relationships by number of meaningless sexual partners. Also, I don't own a smartphone and don't plan to in the near future. Does that make me a luddite? maybe. Does it make my perspective on this article meaningless? I think not. It's clearly a bit of a

@MifuneT: do people actually ask if something has a Retina Display? I thought people would be smart enough to realize that this was just a gimmicky marketing term.

Wow. I sure hope no one believes this is a legitimate study.

@Stevox: ummmm....isn't the point of the article NOT that AT&T got carrier exclusivity, but rather that they got it for far too long?
