Thank you. That bugged me too.

I have to agree with this.

Bro why cook your food when you can just eat it raw. What kind of pretentious twat cooks their food?

Why less than 0.1% of people had a problem, you mean? And those are the people who ate the bars. They’ve never had a problem with the powder mix. (Apart from maybe accidentally contaminating some of it with dairy, which is okay by me because I don’t have a problem with dairy.)

But all those options you describe require putting in some amount of time, effort, and fuss. I don’t care that much about taste. I don’t have to have something that tastes amazing for every meal. If I eat bland most of the time, I find I appreciate the meals that aren’t bland that much more.

I have no idea why you replied to me, but ok.

You are talking about people who live on these liquid diets. Drinking a bottle of soylent in between my 11:30 meeting and my 1:30 meeting once or twice a week is not going to make my body forget how to digest food.

Or I can just drink a bottle of this shit that arrives on my doorstep. Boom done. I make a million decisions a day, sometimes not making one for lunch is what I need.

How slow is your metabolism or how inactive is your life that a handful of nuts will last you more than 20-30 minutes?

Ensure, Slim-Fast, etc. are basically just sugar water. If you tried to subsist on them for any length of time, you’d end up suffering from malnutrition. Soylent has less sugar, more complex carbohydrates, and more of other sorts of nutrients. It’s never going to taste amazing, but it’s going to take a lot less time

I drink it for breakfast and maybe every other lunch.
It helps me count calories and sloooowly lose weight (which is a blessing after you hit 30).

Breakfast and lunch 5 days a week and then eat what I want for dinner. Run 8km a day/ 5 days a week. Recent labs came back good. Funny notion but food is a spectrum. Some people may like and benefit from soylent. Others may not. Ingredients many not work for some. It does for me and you it seems. This whole article is

Cool story, bro.

There’s nothing pretentious about Soylent. It’s delicious and cheap, and it shows up on my door step every time I run out.

Why can’t he drink what he wants? He’s not asking you to drink it.

Cool story, bro.
