Maybe it’s for people who can’t otherwise rent a car through a traditional rental agency? He probably thinks it is a smart decision to rent his car to a 24 year old with a DUI.

Or suction cup the infotainment display with a plunger! (I really thought it was going to break- you could see the glass bowing).

I splurged and rented a Camaro SS convertible on vacation five years ago. It was worth it, because it added to the vacation experience (and I did plenty of burn outs).

I hope for your sake and the sake of everyone who shares the road with you that autonomous cars become a thing well within your lifetime. Old people don’t want to give up their privilege to drive, even when it is obvious they are no longer safe behind the wheel. Autonomous cars would provide a level of independence

I live 1.3 miles from work and yes, I drive.

This guy would either be really fun to hang out with, or he would have very hard line opinions on things that would make holding a casual conversation with him very uncomfortable.

Is this Lord of The Flies rap battle crap what goes on at car meets? I didn’t realize Mustangs were providing a public service at C&C events.

The people 300 miles away are the most at risk!: Far enough away that you let your guard down, but not so far a KILLER Moose can’t track you down and kill everyone you’ve ever loved.

My wife suggested the E93 M3 also, but I am not a fan of 4 seater verts; I only like roadsters. Also, while the M3 would be a great cruiser, I would rather have something lighter and therefor more fun for around town. Even the E85 Z4 M roadster I test drove felt bigger than I expected it to, so I haven’t even bothered

Or like any car with power door handles (Tesla, Jaguar). WHY?! Why motorize those? Jag is the worst, though, motorizing their HVAC vents and transmission gear selector, too.

I agree that the people who defend their choice to buy a Model X don’t love the car for it’s styling so much as the idea/image of the vehicle.

Most people who comment can’t afford the vehicle. I also find it rather interesting that people complain about something they don’t own.

I can’t say how the turbo responds when mated to the auto, as I was only ever considering a manual.

Having test driven both as the top two options on my very short list, I can tell you this:

Unfortunately, I have to disagree with the sentiment of this article. I think the turbo lag makes the Fiat 124 a terrible city car.

Ugh, that would irritate the hell out of me:

That was my guess, too, or a Chrysler 300 with branded title. A Malibu is another option- basically something domestic, being it’s Detroit.

She’s in Detroit, she drives some domestic POS- maybe a Dodge Stratus, or Salvage title 300c.

You were doing it wrong.

Haha. Nice try, but two of my requirements for my next car are: 1) manual, and 2) convertible (2-seater). I’ve been driving a FWD, automatic, TDI, Sedan snooze-mobile for the last year and a half, so I have some making-up to do.
