No words to express my horror at peoples’ lack of decency. This goes beyond a lack of decency - everyone who posted pictures of her should be arrested. Peoples’ need to one-up each other with shock value on social media has gone too far, it’s sick and perverted.

My aunt has finally died today early this morning. It was a very rough week with a lot of downs but also ups. We kept getting calls that it was time but it wasn’t. That gets wearing after awhile. Especially since it wasn’t her anymore. She was a bright and strong woman. It was a relief when it finally happened.

Ugh. Yes. I feel a pretty put-off by the fact that she thinks no one knew who Nina Simone was before this mess of a movie came out. That’s just an insult to the massive waves that amazing woman made in her lifetime and after.
