Oh god, thank you.

Why the hell would anyone willingly use MS Office? Let alone shell out the $100+ dollars for ONE copy.

If I could heart this comment with this new godawful comment system, I would.

I won the juniors' 1000m track time trial championship for my state, on a $300 bike (which I think is too big for me), wearing denim shorts.

The seat on a BMX isn't used most of the time, and the vast majority of people are riding 20" wheels. You should probably put the seat as low as possible, to avoid it getting in the way. It's only really for cruising around with.

On linux, you've got great browsers, email, audio players, IRC, etc. Sure, specialized software is lacking, but there are a lot of great packages for most peoples' needs. Quite a few high-end proprietary programs have RHEL specific versions, such as Autodesk Maya, Nuke, and others. I am a big fan of Adobe Creative

Cycling shorts have a special chamois insert, and if the bike is fitted right, you will be sitting on your sit bones, not soft tissue.

Linux isn't user-unfriendly, it's newbie-unfriendly. But these days, as long as you have basic UNIX knowledge, nothing is very hard to do. You can just download Ubuntu, and install packages from the software center.

Maybe if you built a nice desk with easy casters, this would be practical. Though you'd have to affix the computer/monitor/hard disks to avoid tumbles.

I love this. So awesome.

My pet theory is that the use of sunscreen begets the use of more sunscreen.

Just an extra tube, IMO patching is not worth the time or effort, since the tube is much more likely to fail again, or simply leak air. My saddle bag contains a tube, CO2, tire levers, allen set, wrench, and a chain tool, and about 3 inches of spare links.

Leaning the bike doesn't work, the fork still has to turn. A bike naturally wants to stay upright.

It has bread and it's healthy? Nice try. The RDA of carb is equal to 1.5 cups of sugar.

The point is that insulin is a very anabolic hormone, which stimulates the uptake and storage of sugar in the fast cells, instead of burning it. We've known this since the mid 20th century, and for some reason it has been deemed irrelevant. This fact is in the endocrinology and biochemistry texts.

Tell that to Michael Rasmussen! Dude's a skeleton with T-Rex legs!

But Macs are perfect and never crash! Gizmodo is clearly biased against Macs.

Overclockability, I am usually listening to music or have a fan on anyways. White noise is underrated.

A lot of street skaters don't like longboards because most of the people who ride them are quite untalented. IE - people who bought a longboard to ride from their dorm to the bus stop, wearing flip flops.
