Well of course you aren't going to store 2tbs of data on SSDs!

Apple only supplies drivers for their first party SSDs. You may have to try a hackintosh tool or kext.

My Nvidia GTX 460 drivers have been completely flawless.

I find the lipid hypothesis very interesting, and I have never seen any study which is not an observational study show a link. I have read many doctors and scientists say as much.

Yes, exactly. What I intended to say is that if you do not eat very inflammatory fats, such as polyunsaturated, chemically processed seed oils, such as canola, and instead eat natural animal or plant fats, such as lard, butter, or coconut oil, you will not get the inflammation which has to be repaired.

Sorry, there are only observational studies, which at best, can only provide associations. Plus, meta-analyses of these studies show there is really no link between the two. [www.ajcn.org]

Arterial plaque is cholesterol, since cholesterol is what repairs inflammation in the arteries. If you have too much inflammation, you will develop plaques.

There isn't a randomized, controlled diet study showing that saturated fat and cholesterol is bad for you.

Apparently you've never met an Apple person.

If you've got several thousand dollars and a Quadro 4000.....

That'll happen when they want to set up a password hash cracking center, to violate your privacy.

My experience with Nvidia has been nothing but good, their Win7 driver works perfectly, and they offer Linux, BSD, and Solaris drivers in 32 and 64 bit. I know that in the Arch Linux repo, the 'xf86-video-nvidia' package works perfectly, as well as Nouveau.

Only the super high end. I don't think any of the off-the-shelf software supports it. A LOT of work can be done with just After Effects.

Ha, those MIT people still think saturated fat is bad for you, despite there being no valid diet trial showing that it is.

This meal is lacking in saturated fat. After all, it's the most chemically stable fat molecule, and is the least likely to cause inflammation of the arteries, which can lead to plaques.

Why was bacon and eggs not on this list?

When the company is selling $1500 computers, not the operating system. Especially when half the code is taken directly from a F/OSS operating system.

So because someone copied some bits on a hard drive, you'd have them detained at gunpoint by men in blue costumes?

Yes, because we should use the violence of government to prevent the sharing of ideas.
