That’s because men like Reynolds only evaluate women on what a woman can contribute to the life of the man who loves her. Men don’t see women as individuals who can exist independently as well.

I don’t get why she doesn’t just say I will name names in order to get out of jail. While she is a utterly terrible human being for trafficking, I want all the other rich and powerful people instead of her. I’d gladly leave her in permanent house arrest for even 10% of those clients that “used” her services.

She used the fact that she was a woman to recruit these girls. They probably thought what could go wrong, there is a woman here who will look out for me.
