This movie came up in discussion with a friend (brought up by recent news) and we agreed that gay men of a certain age probably would be able to quote this movie from memory. This is the millennial’s Baby Jane.

The message is uplifting black women, but in practice it’s uplifting Beyonce (unless legally required to acknowledge someone else.)

Yeah, however I am still torn here. Kelis’ voice is not in Beyonce’s track as far as I can hear, she has zero songwriting credits on the original track so is not necessarily owed any more than anyone else involved in making it, and there would have been many others. Also, I generally think Kelis seems pretty cool.

I think, fairly, he means “explain every nuance here and now on Instagram for a million people looking to dissect every word.”

Tbf, you always have to have a pretty careful tone when talking about Beyonce online.
