Do the Afghan Tucanos have those dumb twin .50's, or can you de-option them?

Honestly, fuck these guys.

Could be an LA materialism thing. But yeah, the whole thing seems scripted to elicit maximum rage from auto enthusiasts.

If only there were multiple layers of government and professional certification to make sure these insane abuses you’re imagining are guarded against. OH WAIT

Not only is ‘makrut lime’ also correct, it’s extremely obscure! That way when someone asks you what the fuck a makrut lime is, you have a great anecdote to show off how sensitive you are to accidental microaggressions!

I really hope prices don’t get silly on these. They’d be such a perfect low-fuss weekend car (which is why I'm afraid prices will get silly, see any aircooled porsche)

I agree with you on Obama but I’d argue Bernie hasn’t been in a position to be a DNC moneymaker. There’s a reason ‘underdog’ and ‘spreading the wealth’ look weird in the same sentence.

As a Bernie supporter: Thank you!

The roll hoods are way too strong a gesture for the rest of the car. If they were a little shorter, with a metal hoop providing the actual protection (like on the boxter spyder) it would look a lot more proportionate.

So much this. I’ll take meandering egotistical evil over calculated religious evil any damn day of the week.

They really were phenomenal cars.

I don’t if this is a thing in auto, but in consumer products, product managers often fall under the marketing umbrella.

This is what I’ve thought would be the most likely outcome. I’m sure Assad is scheming as hard as possible to keep Russia from selling him out, but the Assad name is toxic. The US would lose too much face to let him stay in charge. Now someone from the same clan with a different name...

Can we please avoid engaging the putinbots? This dude has shown himself to have very few non-propaganda comments.

That car has not been well maintained.

I agree that they’re wonderful, but I see a shit-ton of w140s on rimzzz in the hood. Like even more than xj8s.

Interesting, I was under the impression the e38 was generally more reliable / diy-friendly than the w220.

Yeah, but they’re local so they have such flawless intel that barrel bombs only kill bad guys.

It’s a tempting thought, because I’m scratching my head at Apple wanting to eat that elephant too... But it seems like there’s waaay more opportunity in autonomous trucking than small delivery cars.

The thought of Apple designing a car is both exciting and nerve-wracking to me.
