Are there multiple detents? I can hear it clicking, but is it like “click is the threshold, then match window speed to pressure, then at a certain pressure initiate auto-down”?

This is the stuff that keeps me coming back. Thanks for taking the time!
Yeah, it kinda goes beyond automotive. Hiding fasteners or joining methods has probably been a flex in woodworking for like 400 years.
It’s telling that the only modern example of “good exposed fasteners” Jason could find is on a handbuilt supercar with a retro interior covered in shiny shit.
Cheaper than color matching the e-coat on this new fastener, testing that it’ll fade at the same rate as the plastic it’s going into, maintaining stock, etc for an outcome that still looks cheap and crappy compared to the way they do it now.
Chimera engineering makes a swap kit for the daytona 190 engine, even retains the fuel injection. Curious how the weight is with the CBR swap
Riding one on a 50mph road would be a hard no from me. Also not great as a first bike. Used ninja 300 is the answer
If reliability of a toy is it’s biggest selling point...
I’m sure it’s lovely to ride and all, but you’d have to be a pretty big fan of khakis and outback steakhouse to want to throw your hard-earned $9200 at one of these over a leftover duke 790.
Props for such a clear, specific explanation!
Is the hypermotard even a sumo though? It weighs like 450lbs.
that seems like a screaming deal. I see ones on BAT for like $12k
Seems like there’s a risk to that too. If people are doing things the ‘right’ way when the CEO is watching, and go back to doing it the fast way when he’s gone- the optimization is going to be based on quickening the ‘right’ way, rather than making the fast way more accurate.
It’s worth mentioning that recreational aviation is in a steady decline.
I’m saying that the framework you suggest does a good job of fitting the narrative of “within a given field, men are at the top”. It does a poor job of describing the actual landscape of people who work in aesthetics.
Plastic surgery is not the top tier of an aesthetic alteration pyramid. It’s the most aesthetic corner of medicine.
I don’t especially like either of them, but the tear ducts and tiny bumper vents on the 458 seem just weird me out
Ferrari does a phenomenal job of refreshes.
Yup. Even the jump in size/weight/thickness going from my 6s to 11pro was annoying. Somewhere between the 5 and 8 would be perfect.
I have an irrational hatred for pearl white. Bright whites like Audi’s are good though.
