Yep. It’s considered desirable in bodybuilding circles (and a necessity for their competitions). But in real life, yeah, no, it’s not my thing either.

Right? What a weird take, to pity a successful millionaire for feeling good about her work.
A mediocre kid of a rich music engineer in NY gets a music gig on SNL. I smell nepotism. Privilege of the wealthy and connected at the very least. She was terrible. Her stage name is stupid. Pass. *I’m gay and I approve this message*
Pointing out that you should be really careful about taking nude photos in this age isn’t really victim blaming, it’s just true.
Yeah, it was fun to watch, but it wasn’t some kind of revelatory documentary piece. It was a behind-the-scenes look at a concert with allllllll the filters on.
That depends on a lot of factors. But when I say that people like to ignore the race and class concerns surrounding adoption and foster care systems I mean things like: who has the privilege and institutional support to continue unplanned pregnancies and then parent the resulting children, or keep them in their…
Do you know any foster parents? I do. Foster care isn’t a “job” in any kind of traditional or modern sense, and foster care payments are not payment for services rendered. It’s essentially volunteering to care for a child while having their expenses covered (in part). But regardless of how someone sees it, fostering…
Thank you. People who either don’t have children or have been able to have their own biological children LOVE to scold infertile or gay couples on how they should be fostering/adopting. If their arguement is so strong why don’t THEY adopt? Why are the couples who need extraordinary measures to have a biological child…
People (in the comments) absolutely love to paint couples who have conception barriers as monsters for pursuing any options other than adoption, especially through foster care, and they also love to never talk at all about the race and class concerns surrounding adoption and foster care systems. They love it as much…
I don’t want kids so I’m totally on board with people having less of them. But I also understand that wanting a bio kid and adoption are different and not everyone who wants a bio kid wants to adopt. I don’t have to personally relate in order to understand that’s a valid viewpoint and to respect it.
I don’t see anything wrong with surrogacy as long as:
1) The surrogate and the biological parents are on the same page with every aspect
2) The surrogate is compensated fairly (this is obviously subjective)
If you’re a surrogate and you are against abortion, don’t be a surrogate for a family who would ask you to…
As an mom of an adopted child, I totally agree. How many children do you have through adopting/fostering?
One can only hope for the sake of the child.
As she should. She’s obviously in no shape to be a parent at this point.
You set that up nicely.
I believe the point has been served.
Please send your best healing wishes to Leonardo DiCaprio, who fought a volleyball and lost
She seems like the kind of woman who’s really concerned with having a specific type of image, and probably feels kind of not great about the way she looks right now. I don’t mean that in a judgemental way, either. But I bet the heels were her choice and something that helped her feel more ready to face the public.
...wow.
