Perhaps the word illegal means something different to you than other folks, but there’s literally a law that states that the Monroney sticker has to be on the car.

Long time reader, 1st time writer. I run a Nissan dealership in Alberta, Canada and I always enjoy your car buying articles. You are 100% correct on this. When I price a used vehicle, I am competing with dealers from all across the country. Customers are smart, they do their research and if I am over priced on a unit,

I came to understand this a few years ago. When I asked why there wasn’t much of a discount to be had, the dealership owner replied, “It’s already a good price, if it wasn’t you wouldn’t even be here, would you?” He was absolutely right. I had looked at dozens if not hundreds of them on the internet already.

IMO it comes down to buyer focus. They’re focused solely on the deal ($ off price) and forgetting to ask the basic question...is the price fair when compared to others on the market?

As a sales consultant.... Thank you for writing this! So many people get mad and storm out when we don’t budge on price and try as we might, people don’t seem to realize that there isn’t thousands of dollars in markup like there was even just a 10 years ago. The internet has litterally changed how people buy things

don’t off road folks use cowbells for this?

We know. Oh god do we know.

First time this commercial came on, it was my personal mission to name every car. Then I proceeded to explain the importance of each car to my wife. She was super annoyed. It was awesome.

I vote for “Trunk 8”. Get it? “Trunc…” Never mind.

I love all the hate in here. Tesla is doing great, no? Dont you think if GM wanted to become a standalone company without dealerships, they have enough money to get the legislation passed? You want to cut commission out of car sales? Sure, lets go ahead and do that, lets see what happens.

1. Kids out of high school

Many errors in that statement.

Wow, I just got that. Give you a brand new service loaner to show off new product, get you to buy. How did I not put that together before?

Yeah, I think that goes in the standard work when selling the trucks now.

The people threatening them are the worst kind of ignorant ass holes.

They only sold the NSX as an Acura in the US.

In the UK and elsewhere, it was a Honda.

No reason to doubt the same will happen again.

Pinching the top of the "H" into an "A" is more aerodynamic.

Well that would explain the Mumps...

Dependability.

Subprime loans on subs! U-boats can pass the 25-year import rule now.
