I’m the Sales Manager at one of the local Mercedes competitors to Mercedes-Benz of McKinney above with new E Classes for insane discounts. I can personally tell you that no one else in this area is offering discounts of that size and their advertising of such sales prices are in direct conflict with Mercedes-Benz Ad

Mercedes-Benz USA CEO is Steve Cannon, not Frank Cannon.

Mercedes-Benz mbrace has this for free as well, but the system only activates if the airbags are deployed. It contacts authorities, sends GPS information and a live person attempts to speak with the passengers to check how they are doing. The downside is that it is run through Verizon Telemetrics, so if you don’t have

The only name it can possibly be is the Subaru Humpback!

I can personally speak for Honda, Toyota and Mercedes in regards to the Monroney. Honda has it applied at the manufacturer. Mercedes has it applied at the manufacturer (if built in Alabama) or the VPC (vehicle processing center) if built overseas. Toyota has distribution centers (ie Gulf States Toyota) that takes in

I'll make an attempt to address your fabricated story regarding ZXP. There could be a couple of things different. Each state and manufacturer has their own rules regarding what can be advertised as a vehicle selling price. Most do not allow a dealer to publicly advertise a price below invoice (what the dealer pays)

Plus after that service loaner gets 12k-15k miles on it, it gets Certified as sold as a certified retired loan car. The manufacturer helps the dealer pay and write off portions of the depreciation and it stocks the pre-owned vehicle inventory! Win win.

I've sold Hondas and currently sell Mercedes. Was CASH king ten years ago? Sure. Today? Nope. Do you know why? Dealers are independent franchises. We purchase vehicles from the Manufacturer at a set price (that means my dealership pays the same thing for a vehicle that every other dealership in the area pays—-note

I'll tell you this, the CLA45 is a fun car to drive. It's impressive and has a race start feature. Mercedes sent me to the Alabama plant for Brand training last month and I have video of a CLA45 beating an SL55 off the line, and they nearly match in 0-60 time (of course beyond that the SL55 dominates). It's a huge

And it's a car that Mom and Dad, who own an E Class or an S Class, think is a great entry level Mercedes for their 16-22 year old son/daughter. We've had quite a lot of that.

That's a great question. It seems to be hitting a broad audience. Acura TLX, BMW 2 series (even though local BMW dealers don't expect to have any until mid spring), high end Honda/Nissan/Toyota/Ford/Chrysler buyers who like the idea of owning a Mercedes for how it makes them look. It seems like most people that come

15 months in on the CLA and we still can't keep them in stock at my dealership. Most of them are sold before they even get here, and once an open unit shows up, they are gone within days. It has been a struggle to keep a CLA for test drive purposes. I had two different customers come in this past Saturday afternoon

Great write up! I spent many a fall in South Dakota pheasant hunting growing up. It was never 80 degrees though!

Mercedes allows you to lock in on a vehicle in front of you, match their speed and follow steering movements. Practically no hands and no feet! (although the system is supposed to disengage if it doesn't 'feel' a hand on the steering wheel) Plus in stop and go traffic, it can follow to a stop and then start driving

One other awesome: No greasiness and fingerprints!

Burmester is standard in the 400 and comes with the premium 1 package in the 300

"Again, the tactile feedback of the wheel is is nice, but why can't we just touch the screen, Mercedes?"

Starting in 2015 the Burmester system is standard equipment in the S-Class and available in the Premium 1 package on the newly redesigned C Class as well!

Considering the fact that the CVT is in the Fit, Civic, Accord and 2015 CRV, and this is based off the Fit, I would be very surprised if they didn't utilize the CVT.

The HDMI connection is primarily used for Honda's new iPhone App based Navigation system called HondaLink Next Generation. Here's a link about it! It's a pretty cool system, available in the Fit, Civic, Accord and CRV right now.
