Perhaps you're right, I could have tried a reasonable discussion about it. But I didn't. Why? Because the conclusion that these articles were talking about all gamers is patently false. If you really think they're talking about you specifically, well, maybe that does say something about you.

Note they're not talking about everyone who plays games, or who self-identifies as a "gamer", as being the worst

That guy was not a troll, he was just horrible at being wrong. And apparently had a huge ego. I wish I could find that post. It just such a great example of someone hitting the fan berserk button.
