I’m more terrified by irrelevant political non-sequiturs.
Same — She told a story about a cheap bolt-together cage (ie, not bespoke welded-together) with an exposed bolt directly next to a guy’s head, puncturing a hole through his helmet and into his skull.
Don’t forget the two zip ties loosely holding the “fire extinguisher”/“pressurized missile” in place.
Precisely. It’s right for the brand because it’s right for functionality: We carry square things, therefore square.
I disagree with your disagreement — both functionality (carrying capacity of square and/or tail-wagging things) and on-road brand identity trump the over-played slant-back wagon archetype (of which I’ve owned a few Tourings and Avants).
Aluminum Maiden just doesn’t have the same ring.
Maybe ten years ago or so...
Dude, that is one SWEET Pee Wee Herman Car!
Most car buyers don’t pay attention even a little bit. They are almost entirely informed by the Thanksgiving ramblings of their know-it-all cousin who says “trucks are bigger and that’s safer so STFU and pass the gravy”...
Dude, the only “fucking joke” here is your comments: Try to understand the rules (they all get less fuel, not one brand) and the reasons why they change (safety, closing rates with other classes, etc.) rather than spreading silly, baseless accusations.
As can be seen by the non-protest photos above, the “controversy” is wholly invented by media reactionaries like Kara Brown, who desperately wants there to be one to support her own racist world view.
Because Kara Brown is contractually obligated to post “white people [insert negative here]” stories to meet her click quota.
Shhhh. You’re upsetting Kara Brown’s “white people are the devil and they’re all out to get us” worldview.
The 6-wheeler, ground effects, active aero and others were not cheating, they were innovations that met the letter of the rules but created problems or improper competitive advantages. The rules are there to punish actual cheating, which is NOT good for the sport.
Much of the world already sees us as imperialistic global tyrants. Mostly because in various economic policies and specific high-profile applications of military power, we have genuinely behaved as... imperialistic global tyrants.
How is a plane that big and square invisible to radar?! Genuine question.
Precisely. I’m sitting on a mound of liquidity to reinvest when the market tanks in the next 12 months for just this reason. Gamble? Yup, but so is having anything to do with the stock market on any given day.
