Yep, I had a Miata rear-ended by an uninsured driver. He paid when I showed at his work with two friends though. Sounds more heavy handed than it was but I had no other recourse.

I’ve suffered at the hands of people who drive, recklessly, without insurance, then continue to avoid responsibility. It is one of the worst things a human can do — It’s legal hit and run. I think we all should be entitled to anger at those people, if not watching them serve a jail sentence.

Paramount Ranch is a great one from Malibu’s heyday. A former movie ranch, the track closed in the mid-50’s and is now a park with a complete western town film set. The track is still visible throughout the hiking trails, accessible via the always-fun Mulholland Highway.

It was just way too expensive - I can afford it but the racing sucks, the series was decided months ago, and...the principle.
