In fairness, this is Russia, where rules and laws are little more than light suggestions.

Good for you: Your wish has been granted.
Good catch - I grabbed his linkedin profile. It’s him alright. That VW engineer needs a pink slip. After all they did with this scandal and it’s “your air”? How on Earth could he/they be so evil? There's definitely something wrong with VW to employ people like him.
Holy shit you’re dumb, *VW engineer* Stef Scheepers.
You are aware there is a middle ground, no? If you have $20k you have choices beyond “imminent bankruptcy” and “fatal boredom.”
I’ve owned this E55 model - Motors are less the issue than everything else, and I do mean everything. It was a terribly unreliable car built amidst Mercedes’ legendary quality malaise. Any Mercedes mechanic (of any honesty) will warn you off these, all day. Tavarish has chosen THE worst car to recommend yet again!
That’s because he is a fool. Honestly, you cannot read his drivel and come to any other conclusion. To suggest one of these legendarily unreliable cars with 118k miles over a warrantied Hyundai is what a fool writes, not someone who thinks about or could be on the hook for a $15k repair.
How do you post one of these as a “value” and look at yourself in the mirror? The E55 was the worst reliability I’d ever seen in any car I’ve owned much less a Mercedes, a brand that famously had horrible problems in those years. People of any sense: Do NOT listen to a word Tavarish says. He is the human embodiment of…
Wow, look who’s butt hurt! I definitely touched a nerve!
Uh, so what part of “crime” and “cheating” don't you get? Some dad you are. Hope your kid learns some morals somewhere.
“Hate the game not the player” is a bad playground excuse for cheating, not something adults use. Also, the EPA’s regs are not “arbitrary” nor is this the 70’s. We live in a time of imminent environmental collapse.
Honestly, not being snarky, you’re genuinely a sociopath if you think that. Skirting the rules to bypass systems and tests that protect us using special tech IS wildly illegal, no matter how the test itself is designed. To think otherwise is the same mindset that gives us bank collapses after sociopaths commit…
No, those letters went to the board and management (hence, their discovery inside VW). That means it just got WAY worse - They can no longer claim it was an errant engineer but a criminal plot known at the highest levels. The fine just shot up a couple billion in my mind.
Yeah, because we should defend corporations that blatantly lie to us and defy our laws then call people who disagree or like clean air pejorative names, right?
This is literally the worst time possible for Mazda to launch Diesel: Massive bad diesel PR, low oil prices, and a tech Mazda couldn’t get to work for the same reason as VW (NOx emissions failures)? Nope.
CAN be arrested - diplomatic immunity is limited does not cover traffic incidents or tickets. “Full” diplomatic immunity is available only to the top diplomat; Their aides, security and entourage do not qualify.
A new S4 gets launched and you guys are whining about the promo music?
Same - peanut butter & jelly on a warm tortilla gets lots o’ likes.
This is a post about a business discussion, not your whiney family.
Sorry, but being interrupted is not some heinous act of sexism, nor is it an “ingrained gendered behavior”: In discussions, negotiations and any form of business, an aggressively shared opinion tends to win, regardless of gender. If you can’t stand interrupting or being interrupted to put your POV forward, you’re…
