Yeah, but not saying so is a chicken-shit way of saying “maybe” or “I’m not going to be held to that protocol.” Coaches still want to win, even if it means cutting the concussion corners, as they always have.

If the coach and multiple players are attacking officials, the program is compromised and needs a year off. They can play again next year. The kids will learn that life isn’t always fair but fair play is non-negotiable.

But what’s just? Having a guy pay back tolls with his car or leaving him broke with no means of getting to/finding a job?

I was not a fan of foxtrot alpha being a part of Jalopnik at first but, alas, you are correct - Always interesting stuff from him.

I think I had a “Belphegor” once. Doc gave me a little local and removed it on the spot. Wasn’t so bad...

Whoa. That headline under the wrong pic = winnable lawsuit. Daaaamn...

Now playing

Kim’s reply from the Federal pokey, in her native language:

I’d never even heard of a “meet” before I reached my late 30’s! And when are those meets? Sunday at 7 in the f***ing morning! What teen/20-something/non-retiree gets up that early on a Sunday to stand around with old people? They’re elsewhere, at else-time.

Yeah, but nothing important happened in the 40’s, right?

These movies don’t translate from 50 years ago, when some of this silliness made perfect sense...

Careful there...

You believe a story from the “World News Daily Report”, eh?

As is the James Dean nonsense. Every piece of that car was well-documented and is known of to this day. Engine is in a Lotus IX, gearbox is with a collector, various pieces are around, the rest was scrapped by SoCal racers parting it out.

Try driving an Italian car or a Mazda. They still rust here just fine!

As a guy (who are by nature “problem solvers”), I think that is absolutely one of the best ways to make things happen: It’s playful yet direct and makes clear that there is something in need of “doing.”

The old quote “I didn’t have time to write you a shorter letter” says a lot about simplicity.

In Detroit, there are no “mysteries” when things go missing:

This is severe, no doubt, and it will be an expensive repair but that car is a bit of a gem. I think if anyone would take it on, with the resources he has available in the Porsche community, it’s him.

I don’t know Magnus but I’ve met him a bunch of times and he is anything but a “stickerifier/painter.” The cars he’s built have been beautifully done and show the meticulousness of his work.

Cork it asshole.
