Anytime I visit a national park I always think “yep eventually everyone day visiting will be bused in” It gets tougher with people camping or people staying inside the park and a Kinja commenter isn’t expected to have all of the answers.

where did I say that? Improving roads that need repair isn’t the same as expanding roads and making more parking lots. There is always going to be a large percentage of the park that is untouched.

If you hike Mt Rainier for two 6 hour days that’s 12 hours. 5 dollars an hour which is cheaper than almost anything else you can do.

I live in Wisconsin and you can get a state park yearly pass for 25 dollars otherwise it’s 7 dollars a visit. That’s an absolute steal.
