I hear what you're saying. It is a shit situation to be in for sure. I was just trying to explain to OP why I'm ok with being slightly less disgusted with some abusers vs others. At the end of the day they're all abusers though. And they deserve to face the full force of the law.

I dunno. I think it's always going to be far worse for a person of greater strength to beat on a person of lesser strength- a person who has no hope of defending themself. Domestic violence is always abhorrent but size and strength shouldn't be ignored.
