I get it, definitely, and that’s basically the (common sense) argument that Dr. Nerdlove made in response to the previous letter on this topic. It just strikes me that coming so soon on the heels of that previous letter, this one seemed like it was almost a willful exaggeration of the question of male uncertainty on

I am. Some people are that awkward and analytical.

I dunno I thought that guy was basically correct, although he stated his argument kind of weirdly and couched it in a lot of useless personal data.

Are we absolutely sure that the guy who wrote the first letter isn’t subtly trolling?

Oh thank god, are we allowed to just openly hate on Tucker Max now?

“You tell me.”

If Amy Schumer had chosen him as a ghost writer/co-author you really don’t think Jez would be having a field day with this?

When done properly, amoral audacity is hilarious (just look at the Marx Brothers movies)

Let us have a moment of silence for the trees that were needlessly sacrificed for this man’s showboating.

This is brilliant. Everyone knows that the best way to let people know that the government has grown too large and much of it is unnecessary and wasteful and really hammer home the point that you are different—that you are not big and unnecessary and wasteful—is to print more than 200,000 sheets of paper to use as a

“Omarosa has disputed that she was fired—although the Secret Service has confirmed that it deactivated her security pass”

Having spent 16 years in catholic school including two universities, I can attest to the fact that the catholics are taught to care more about the life and dignity of living human beings than they do about fetuses.

I grew up in Mississippi and this is accurate. NOTHING I did or said broke my mother’s heart more than me being pro-choice. I distinctly remember her saying she failed as a mother and a Christian woman.

And it’s likely the next generation of this group will vote differently than their mothers and grandmothers.

Honest question: Do you think abortion is really the issue there, or is it that support for anti-abortion candidates overlaps closely with support for white candidates? In other words, are they hiding behind one seemingly unimpeachable voting issue to disguise another, less savory motive?

The issue that democrats need to understand though - if they changed their platform and became the party of 100% prohibition no abortions for anyone - the republican purse strings would simply move the goalpost.

Absolutely right! White non-evangelical women went overwhelmingly for Jones.

As you single out the admirable voting record of black women, Jewish women, Latinas, Lesbians (of any ethnicity/faith). Not mentioned here are Muslim and Catholic women, who also tend to vote Democratic.

Well I’m sure this comment section won’t descend into fucking anarchy...

A whole lot of internalized misogyny and self-loathing propped up by white privilege for some, wildly depressing levels of ignorance (also propped up by white privilege) for others.
