I’d have to agree with this one. If you know you’re having a vegan guest, it’d be kind to provide them with something other than a side salad, even if it’s just pasta and sauce (with no cheese in it!). Especially if it’s someone you’ve known for a while! Nothing says “you’re not welcome here” than knowing someone has…

Respectfully, I just can’t settle for “isn’t terrible” in the cheese world. I had a bad experience with Daiya cheddar (in that it sucked, wouldn’t melt, tasted like Velveeta (which is also not cheese), molded immediately, etc.) and would rather just never eat cheese again than eat the fake stuff and know how much…

I’ve yet to really love a vegan pie crust. Its not the bread... its the binder. It just seems to acclimate to nuts more than bread, in my opinion. But the real secret is using the nuts to thicken soups instead of using cream, or using them as a crust, because nuts just don’t seem to need the binder of egg the way…

We have a bunch of different needs in our friend group. Vegan isn’t one of them, but if one showed up, then a couple of options would materialize for that person. However, the turkey, and all the other stuff, would not disappear. There will be no vegan thanksgiving, nor will there be a GF, soy free, flax free…

These are great tips. Just one thing, coming from a cheese lover - vegan cheese does suck. I’ve tried it, and it’s terrible. Don’t get your hopes up, folks! It’s not the same. Better off just letting the veg shine, as the author suggests!

I have so much rage that the Republicans are willing to overlook ANYTHING in their lust for tax cuts, which, as an economic theory of stimulating growth, have proven to be particularly ineffective.

Honestly, yes, this would probably still work. Most (white) people in Alabama would vote for an ear of corn before they’d vote for a democrat. She might as well just tell the truth, it wouldn’t really cost her anything but her soul (snort).

For how much she’s being paid I’m surprised she doesn’t just go for broke and “yes he assaulted some women but he’ll cut your taxes. It’s not like he assaulted your daughter/wife/girlfriend is it?”

Conway is such a coward. We all know she was saying “fuck yeah vote for Moore, he’s a republican isnt he?”. Just say it. Does she think we don’t know the difference between “implied” and “stated”? With her it’s painfully obvious, she’s not that good at deflection.
