At least you got pickles. I got soggy bread with grilled zucchini chunks, and no seasonings what so ever.

She was very good in a serious role in Dirty Sexy Money, which is where I first saw her.

Sorely needed. Like one in every four commercials on indian television is for this kind of crap. And every one of them is just so blatantly offensive.

Luckily it all went by way too fast for me to register what the gifs were exactly. Pretty much just...Nudity! AAAAAHHHHHH! Kill tab! Kill tab! KILL TAB! *look all around office and breathe huge sigh of relief that no one's looking at me*

Ah, ok. Thanks. Saw the article. Didn't realize something had already (extremely relatively speaking) changed. Will gladly take a hopefully temporary lack of gifs in exchange for not having another near miss while reading the comments section at work.

Ah, gotcha! I saw the article yesterday, didn't realize something had been done about it yet. Eh, much as I love gifs, I'll trade it in for not having the living daylights scared out of me while reading the comments section at work.

"No! It always happens when I'm trying to be inconspicuous. I almost feel like they're making fun of me. If anything, I feel less attractive."

Right?! Her Decemberists connection is that she sang the queen's part on Hazards of Love. Here's her newest song:

I feel kindly towards The Decemberists because without them, I wouldn't know who Shara Worden is and I really LOVE Shara Worden.

I don't get it ...

Eh. I read the wiki. Seems tenuous. One name similarity (which is easily explained by Simba having the meaning lion), art on a couple of generic scenes and no more of a plot resemblance than one would expect to find between heroic journey movies.

You're absolutely right. Thanks.

Fair point.

Was going to comment that there has to be some middle ground between the super-apologetic and the dismissive takes of the first scenario. But the last scenario really made me smile.

Neither do I. I'm going to take that as a compliment.

I really liked that (highlight for spoiler, hopefully)

Oh god yes, on Wyldstyle. Not only was she strongly doing nothing, but they also did the classic 'reward her to the hero' thing. She's with Batman. Oh, Batman's not the hero? Oh, she should be with the hero, in that case.
