Carly and Darlene were both the MVP’s from both the character and acting sides of Mr Robot, for me at least.

Was wondering about that too. At one point after he remembered the abuse during the nightmare therapy session he said that he would tell her what was wrong but I don't remember him actually doing so. 

It didn’t end how I thought it might end, but it did end exactly where I wanted it to... with Darlene and Elliott alone. It was gutwrenching and wonderful.

Forget 2.  I'd bet the first one takes care of that when it gets the inevitable re-release prior to 2 premiering. 

Ernie’s been gone for a few weeks now, and with the way things have somehow managed to get even worse than they already were, it doesn’t seem like they’ve gotten anyone flying this shitshow again yet.

The lack of Michael Kiwanuka, Gary Clark Jr, Karen O and Danger Mouse, Bishop Briggs, Chelsea Wolfe, Jade Bird, Gang Starr, and Freya Ridings is wrong. And Sharon Van Etten should be a lot higher up than that.

Just wanted to say thanks, Joelle, and that I am really happy the AV Club brought you on for these. You definitely improved upon the experience of watching the series.  Not to mention that it's nice to see some other brown faces around here. There's not as many of us as there used to be.

I don't agree with you about very much (though I have tremendous respect for you actually engaging in the comments sections,) but I definitely do here. This is a great piece. I miss stuff like this on AVC. Dowd's one on his childhood and that one-off from Sasha Geffen last year about Twenty One Pilots of all things…

If that’s the Best then this year was even worse than I thought. I liked this whole Pets Playing D&D thread that starts here better than most of those.
