Yeah, it was a cheesy cliché, but Domlene in the airport was almost as tense as the hack last week was for me. I like how Esmail resolved it.

More importantly, where’s his sister? It’s been almost two decades since Haunted, and while Bishop Briggs and Billie Eilish have sort of filled some of that vacuum recently, it’d still be fucking fantastic to finally get a new Poe album. I believe all the legal problems with the label are done with.
Caught the Shift+Control on NBC poster and figured Darlene was about to do something fsociety-related. That was a nice touch.
BONG! on 4ever, you beautiful bastard!
I mean, I’m glad it worked for you, but at best she was just boring. Mostly she was just really fucking annoying. Nothing about any of that was scary for me. Hell, Vera and the unpredictable nature of his meth addiction were more threatening. Like someone above said, she was like a cartoon villain, and unlike every…
Before he shot Looper he sent the script to Shane Carruth to go over and look for problems. I wish he’d done the same with TLJ. I liked parts of it and definitely appreciated what he was trying to do, but it was a mess that needed a stronger storyteller to come in and tighten it up. Still better than TFA though.
I’ll agree with you that that camera spin was executed brilliantly, but I cannot agree that Janice was a great villain. She’s been one of the only sour notes of the entire series for me (along with the similarly annoying performance from Cannavale.) Unlikable characters are fine, but you still have to enjoy watching…

Me watching his stupid story leading up to that moment:
So long and thanks for all the fish Instant Pots, headphones, and sous vide immersion cookers you helped me score over the years.

Where’s my Drexl Spivey prequel series? Apple can afford both some mild de-aging tech and David Simon for a gritty and realistic look at Drexl’s rise to power against the backdrop of the sociopolitical machinations of a dying Detroit.
Just a heads up, but I noticed a bunch of comments missing and yours are among them so I think io9 just shadowbanned you for making fun of Charles. Even comments of yours that weren't doing that that I saw earlier are now gone.
They look like Dick Tracy villains
No doubt.
