The music throughout season 6 was the best of the series I thought, and the use of piano for the first time for that opening sequence was brilliant and created a very disquieting and eerie tone.

Speaking of reaction videos..... I always like to link this poor bastard watching the final 7 minutes of Six Feet Under whenever the subject comes up. It doesn’t spoil anything if you’ve never seen it but plan to one day. Just dud blubbering away to a Sia song and some sound effects.

I’m not even a particularly big of a fan of the show, but I absolutely loved this. I thought it wasn’t just the best scene of the series but also one of the best moments in television history actually. It was just so well executed and genuinely surprising for once. I still get teary-eyed just thinking about it. About

This one’s unlikely to make anyone’s list of the top ten Billions episodes when all is said and done

Just finished. That was rough and not like Cheers. That was 2 Broke Girls set in a bar. The writing was abysmal and the acting was stiff... even from Flynn and Morales.  And that “live studio audience” sounded more fake than the MASH laugh track.

Of course you do. That’s your whole tiresome schtick.

You’d love it. Her, Timothy Dalton, and Rory Kinnear especially are all wonderful as are Helen McCrory and Patti LuPone. Even Josh Hartnett was actually good in it. Billie Piper has this arc where she gets to really cut loose by the end of it where she delivered a brilliant performance in one specific monologue.  It’s

Eva Green not only not winning but not even being nominated for an Emmy for Penny Dreadful was a fucking travesty. (see also: Carrie Coon for The Leftovers)  She was nothing short of brilliant in that.

Absolutely everything in life is improved by involving Eva Green.

Different one. He interrupted her alone time, man, whaddya expect?  Also, he saw her crying.

This show needs to trim down a hell of lot more of the cast than that. A LOT more. And you’re right about the Henry reveal coming last not working. I get that it’s because we’re supposed to be feel bad for Carol, but is there anyone at all watching that’s sad to see Henry dead? Not that I cared about the others

Unfortunately, none of them are Cardi B, and we now have no choice but to think of this as “Cardi B’s Hustlers that they are all also in.”

Nix from a couple of weeks ago in Slashfilm:

It’s not.  They even aired numerous commercials during the original broadcast saying they were airing a Rocky marathon all day tomorrow

Yup.  The whole event aired.

Two Rooms is very, very mixed bag of an album. Sinead, Sting, Joe Cocker, George Michael, and Oleta Adams are the highlights. The rest range from okay to “what the fuck is happening right now?”  But it’s definitely worth checking out for the good stuff.

I thought SF’s dumbass glove rule got overturned years ago?
