If you never heard that cover then you might not have heard Sinead doing “Sacrifice” from that album either. It was the best thing on Two Rooms for me, and my favourite thing she ever did. Her approach to it just highlights and mirrors the lyrics perfectly, especially when her voice slices into you when she switches

I don’t know how novel it is. It looks like a less funny knockoff of the criminally unknown First Period where the two girls are played by two dudes around 30. It’s free on Amazon Prime, and I can’t recommend it enough. It’s like John Waters mixed with Amy Heckerling and John Hughes.  Got a great cast too with

No, champ, that’s not how it works. And considering the amount of ignorant shit I’ve seen your lily-white ass spout off about concerning the color of my skin over the years, you’re not in any position to be lobbing racism accusations at anyone.

It’s Hughes, dude. And the modern day AVC in general for that matter.

Welcome to the modern day AV Club, the pop culture website where the facts don’t matter, and there’s absolutely no editing.

More Katherine Moennig on my screen is always a good thing.

If you haven’t seen Chris Kelly’s semi-autobiographical feature film debut yet, you should give that a shot as well. It’s not perfect, but it’s pretty damn good. A nice balance of funny and poignant without tripping over the line into sappy. Fantastic cast with Jesse Plemons, Molly Shannon, Bradley Whitford, D’Arcy

If not a troll then just an asshole. He copies other people’s points. It’s all about getting stars and the woke bit is just the current way that he (and others here) figured out was a way for him to treat people like shit and get away with it. I mentioned the racist shit was one of the ways we got him banned on

He’s a racist piece of shit troll that a bunch of us had to work to get banned from io9 and all of the Gizmodo verticals way back in the day when he was JMan.  He snuck in here after the kinja-swtichover when they were approving pretty much everyone.  His biggest obsession is Zack Snyder for some reason, and he’ll

I hated Uncle Tupelo breaking up, but then this came out. I was okay with it after that.

God, I love waking up to a Will Harris piece. It’s getting waaaayyy too long between these, Will. You’re like a light in the darkness.

It was a mess, and the fervor surrounding it is beyond creepy. Speaking of creepy... did you click into that Worst of the Internet article today? TWO of the three author picked comments are fucking Laserface. God, I hate what this place turned into.

5-7 were a bit of a mixed bag to be sure. But starting with Monica’s wedding at the end of 7 it picked back up. And 10's an abbreviated season. Married life, Rachel’s baby, and the additions of Aisha Tyler and Paul Rudd all reinvigorated it for me and ended up being where most of my favourite episodes came from.  The

I guarantee you that this comment gets dismissed. Ducksauce is a white dude pretending to be black. Originally he was just about being a piece of shit to people (which you can still see if you browse his comment history,) but then a little while back he figured out he could actually get followed by the blogs if he

PBS actually shortened that by half an hour for some reason when they broadcast it. If you’ve never seen the whole thing it’s worth checking out and free on Amazon Prime and Vudu right now.

That’s what booze and pills are for.

Definitely seeing this, but Daniel Kaluuya is not remotely believable as intimidating. He’s a good actor, but every time I see him in the trailer it reminds me of those insecure, short dudes you grow up around that think acting crazy and mad-dogging people makes them look threatening instead of funny.

I wasn’t a Buffy fan at all but sat through them because of someone I was seeing back then. Her stuff was the only time the show wasn’t a ridiculous slog for me.
