Apropo of nothing, but this seems as relevant a place as any to mention this nugget: my ladyfriend likes keeping score on occasion (I taught her when we were first dating, but I was a bit rusty on it, so she then read up on it some more and is now better at it than I am, but she strongly dislikes the positional…
Thanks for the insight. So basically, Boston discovered and exploited a hole in the Nationals' strategy. When this happened in the '09 Series (Johnny Damon as the baserunner), who was the batter?
All good points. Now that there are dozens and dozens of statistical measures for baseball, adding one or two additional ones like you propose is probably the way to go, rather than adjusting a long-established one (even if it is flawed, in my - sometimes - humble opinion).

I was also a very average 800m "specialist" for four years in high school. I know I never broke 2:00, but may have gotten as close as 2:02 (it was nearly 20 years ago, so may be mis-remembering). I spent nearly all of that time in the 2:05 to 2:15 range.
Generally, if you're going to ALL CAPS something, it's a good idea to spell it correctly.
In other news, Cal Ripken just went about his business like a true pro and didn't haze anyone.
...Something about James Earl Ray having a better shooting percentage than anyone on that team last month?
I saw them the next day near Chicago. Not a fan. #teampigeons
